Sports Trainings


Methods of trainings vary according to the type of sport which we practice. Nevertheless, the common core to all sports is the weight training or the muscular reinforcement.

 

Muscular reinforcement is essential to have a good motor functions and in certain cases to avoid backache. Associated with stretching and other exercises, it's the passport to be in good shape.

 

For high level athletes, weight-training refines their preparation for competition.

 

Preparation must include, besides training containing cardio-training, muscular reinforcement to request muscular groups concerned in the selected sport.

 

Different sports preparation:

For football 

Principle qualities are endurance, team spirit.

 

Injuries: most frequent injuries are at lower limbs (61%).

 

It will be necessary to privilege flexibility, work of the thighs.

 

- All abdominal exercises.

 

- Squat, inclined press, front slits, work of ischios, front-leg extensions and exercises for adduction of legs.

 

For ski 

Principle qualities required are endurance, coordination, balance, self-control.

 

Injuries: lower limbs (45%), upper limbs (37%)

 

We'll work resistance, in dynamics and isometric (series of 15 with thrust acceleration).

 

General reinforcement of the back, thighs, lumbar, shoulders, abs.

 

For judo 

Principle qualities are balance, coordination, speed of execution, flexibility.

 

Injuries: the most frequent injuries are on the level of the lower limbs (46%).

 

It's necessary to work muscular groups in strength and resistance, to work general flexibility.

 

Reinforcement of the supports on ground (feet, ankles), of the neck, shoulders, back, abs.

 

For rugby

Principle qualities are speed, endurance, sense of placement. 

 

Injuries: lower limbs (41%).

 

Work on heavy loads and in dynamics.

 

Reinforcement of muscles of the thighs, back, shoulders, pectorals, biceps, trapezoids, abs.

 

For golf 

Principle qualities are good vision, coordination, good static of rachis, estimate of distances and wind.

 

Injuries: spinal column (80%).

 

Preparation for fast and huge rotation of spinal column.

 

Reinforcement of shoulders, back, abdominal, many stretching.

 

For  horse riding  

Principle qualities are balance, coordination, passion of horses.

 

Injuries: the fall (75% of the accidents), upper limbs (45%).

 

Reinforcement of back and thighs, rebalancing of  pelvis, abs.

 

Stretching of rachis.

 

For tennis 

Principle qualities are speed of execution, sense of placement limited to a restricted area game.

 

Injuries: lower limbs (38%) and upper limbs (23%), trunk (26%).

 

Rebalancing of abs and dorsal muscular masses, reinforcement of important points (thigh, knees, shoulder, forearm, arm), rectification of back, abs, work of arm rotators.
