After an activity or quite simply for the pleasure it is necessary to be released by applying one or more methods indicated below.

To carry out actions, our muscles have the property to contract. However the muscles at rest have a basic tonicity which one can attenuate to allow us to
release oneself. By releasing the muscles, we are quiet and we are less anxious, less stressed.
The purpose is a muscular relaxation accompanied by mental relaxation. One seeks the reduction in his muscular tone and
relaxation.
Stretching
Stretching form the basis for the majority of the methods of relaxation because they relax the muscles and the whole body. Stretching allow also a better preparation the effort, to avoid traumatisms and a better recovery after the physical effort. A complete

devoted to the stretching methods.
Specific methods
- The Jacobson method consists in alternating times of contraction and muscular relaxation. It leads to a cerebral relaxation as well as has a
reduction in the tonic activity of our muscles.
- The various forms of yoga allow an action on the muscular tone, by the use of precise postures, associated with a control of its breathing.
- The method of Dr. Schultz allows a central disconnection thanks to the relaxation of the neuromuscular system. It is about a self-hypnosis which must
be led by a specialized doctor.
- The method "Gerda Alexander" led to make an inventory of our body by becoming aware of all its components. Each elements of the body is replaced in the
unit to rebuild a new unit of the individual.
- Methods of muscular relaxation. One seeks muscular relaxation and the control of breathing in a calm environment. The lighting of the part must be
