Backache


It's necessary to learn how to identify origins of  backache in order to make adequate arrangements for avoid pains. Some measures are effective, but sometimes it will be necessary to entirely modify its way of life (posture, nutrition, physical activity ... ).

 

Back pains or lumbagos have often originate in muscular atony : an insufficient musculature (lack of exercises) which weakens vertebral axis and makes it more vulnerable to aggressions. A muscular reinforcement avoids very often develop of many of backache and prevents dorsal discomforts.

With a minimal physical activity, regular and not traumatizing, we'll need a nutrition sufficiently rich in proteins.

Opposite a development muscular which is no symmetrical, disproportionate, or anarchistic, will generate backache. It's necessary to develop methodically one's dorsal muscles (ask advices to a professional).

 

Other causes can be at the origin of lumbagos. Exercises badly carried out or postural bad habits which make work certain muscles more than others what causes articular tensions and stiffness. Moments long and repetitive when we make identical physical efforts or bad gestures (gardening, do-it-yourself, household, drive..). Easy arrangements must to take to avoid those problems :

- Always carry loads in a balanced way (to bend legs). 

- To have a good nutrition, to modify our food practices or to go on a diet to reduce tensions on the spinal column (less weight).

- To make stretching and limbering-up exercises to avoid stiffness and packing of vertebras.

- To develop one's back muscles before practicing any sports activity.

- If your bed has more than ten years, replace it because its maintains is not more effective !

- To stand up and sit up straight, not to lean ahead by looking at the ground when we walk.

- To avoid as far as possible sports which cause back pains like motor bike as well as repetitive movements (gardening, do-it-yourself, a prolonged sitting position, drive a car, removals).

- To use ergonomic furniture conceived for a good maintains posture.

- To wear shoes which damp out vibrations cause by walking or certain activities. The sport shoes have most of them air cavities for absorb shocks.

 

Aggravations :

It's sciatica or more simply a pain which follows the way of sciatic nerve.

Lumbago or more simply a blocking of bottom of the back (one is held leaning ahead for walk).

 

When we suffers from back, it's almost always recommended rest in order to relieve rachis and pain. It's necessary to consult a doctor. The use of products, apparatuses or technic producing heat, allows to relax muscles and there is less muscular tension and pain.
