Weight training for men is beneficial because it allows to answer to many objectives like muscular reinforcement, the gain of strength and potential, the correction of certain bad postural attitudes, the fight against ageing, the improvement of our appearance ...

 

 

 

On physiological level, men have a ratio fatty mass/lean mass is more important than women (35% against 25%). Weight training of abs and masses around vertebral column will be beneficial.

Muscular masses of man could be more easily developed than woman because of anabolic capacity of hormones (the most important is the testosterone). This hormone increases the anabolism of proteins (muscles and skeleton) and it stimulates muscular work. 

 

 

 

Because of spectacular improvement of physical qualities generated by hormones, doping made its appearance. Hormonal anabolic make it possible to increase muscular masses and strength, steroid hormones give a feeling of blow of whip (stimulation of adrenal glands), hormones marketed in products of synthesis activate the testosterone secretion. 

If these products are taken without medical control, they bring too many disorders and problems of health (harmful hormonal imbalances).

 

 

 

 

If fatty masses are not supported by sufficient muscular tissues those will tend to be accumulated in certain areas of the body.

Distribution of the fatty mass is also different between men and women, this accumulation is made on the level of hips (love handles) and belly.

Practiced exercises will have to be sufficiently varied in order not to isolate a muscular group more than another one. It's necessary to prefer to use free weights than the guided machines because guided apparatuses make working very little of stabilizing muscles which are used to improve our coordination.
