Before, During and After the Pregnancy 


Pregnant women have a difficult role because in addition to her pregnancy, she must deal with household and sometimes even with her work. Moreover, her physical appearance changes month after month, progressively.

 

Because of pregnancy, biological characteristics are difficult to assume : increase in weight, displacement of center of gravity to bottom and thus an increase in vertebral pressures, hormonal modifications of which are to increase joints mobility (perineum, amphiarthrosis..).

On physical level we will have to expect after-effects located especially to level of chest, belly, thighs, buttocks and skin. We notes after childbirth a fat accumulation, a sensation to be weakened, stretch marks, a lose of muscles ...

 

During the period of gestation, we will have to take precautions: not to do any power work, no cardio-training exercise, even light.

We have just said that pregnancy and childbirth very often leave on body of moms after-effects but a good physical preparation can attenuate those very much

This antenatal physical culture will be reproduced one month approximately after happy event. It consists of a series of exercises aiming at making work muscles of  back and chest, adductors, gluteus muscles, thighs, abdominal.

 

 

After childbirth, to observe a rest of several weeks in order to support cicatrisation. Then, a physiotherapist is recommended in order to rehabilitate perineum. It's about a small muscle put at hard test during pregnancy which must recover flexibility and elasticity. After first month, it will be necessary to make stretching of muscles of posterior chain as well as a toning up of  abs. They are only two months after childbirth that will have to be taken gradually a normal activity.

 

Nutrition of pregnant women will have to include needs for fetus and mother. It will have to also prevent tiredness, anemia, excess of weight or decalcification. Food hygiene will have to be rigorous. It will be also the same for the baby's feeding and of the child because it will then be necessary to include energy expenditure particular to childhood and requirements for growth. Dietician and nutritionist will be able to help you, not hesitate to consult them.
