Shape and weight


Relationship between  weight and size is an important element of physical shape. Our weight is directly influenced by physiological factors but also by our ways of life.

Fat, fatty tissue and folds under the skin.

A diet accompanied by a physical activity are the real solutions for eliminating excess of fat. Rate of fat in our body shouldn't in theory exceed 15% of the total weight for an man adult, and 19% for an woman adult.

 

We should not confuse excess of weight with obesity which is a generalized excess of fat.

Certain ready-cooked food or low calories diet can allow a certain control of our eating. But if we really wishes to lose weight, we must make efforts.

Calories which are not burned are stored in our body in the form of fat and it' s necessary " to spend " more calories than the intake quantity.

To make efforts, we have choice between many outdoor activities like bike, bicycle ,roller, walk ... We can also practice a collective sport or simply to make cardio-training and fitness.

 

Certain activities spend calories more or less. For example for a person of approximately 150 pounds (70 kg), quantity spent per minute will be approximately of:

- 14 calories, to climb up the stairs.

- 12 cal, to race at 12 km/h (7.5 mph).

- 8 cal, to swim.

- 7 cal, to play football.

- 6 cal, to walk.

- 5 cal, to dance.

- 2.5 cal, to sweep.
