During this test,
check following points :
1- Schedules and days of opening.
They must be flexible and largest possible. Opening at 7h 30 without interruption until at least
21h or 22h. The club must be open during the weekend because
often it's the moment when you will have generally the most free time. Prefer a club which is close to your work
or near home to save time on transportation.
2- Showers and locker rooms.
Check that hygiene is perfect and irreproachable. All the rooms must be correctly ventilated.
3- General atmosphere.
Prefer rooms clear and ventilated giving on outside, test the kindness of the staff and environment. Avoid rooms "crowded".
If something isn't appropriate to you, don't join the Health Club because there is strong chance so that you give up your sessions quickly, you won't be motivated.
4-The equipment, machines, hardware.
If you notice that the hardware is dilapidated or broken, don't join. If the
Health Club often doesn't renew its equipment you are likely to worry you and in
the worst cases to have an injure. In the same way, there is nothing more unpleasant than to see unavailable hardware during weeks.
5- Presence of the personal trainers and their number.
To avoid the Clubs where it's necessary to always
look for the personal trainer. Trainers must be available and in a sufficient number even
during the off-peak period. They must normally propose to you a follow-up personalized with a starting check-up. Training workouts must be continuous especially if you chose
an annual subscription.
