Physical Activities

Physical activity must take an important place in daily life. Indeed, thanks to movements and exercises, we will find a certain wellness.

Our body is conceived in such a way that lack of movement harms to us in long term. To make sport and to move are good for body, spirit and build a slim and sculptured body. The cardio training and weight training are the core of all humain activities.

Thanks to activities such as fitness or cardio training we will regenerate our body.

Weight training will remodel our body and stimulate us.

Practice of a physical activity shouldn't be done randomly. It's necessary to establish routine plans in function of our health, of the characteristics of each one, and the objectives targeted.

Practice of a sport must be adapted to our tastes and our aspirations. Perhaps you prefer individual sports but not collective sports,  practice indoor or an outdoor activity, and not an activity in a club.

Here are some examples of energy expenditure in our activities :

Activities Calories spent average per minute (cal/min)
To make a bed 4
Gatherings 3
small jobs 3
To sprinkle 2,5
To get dressed 2
To do the housework 2

How much calories nibbles bring us in calories?

Food Contribution energy (cal)
1 pastry 500
1 croissant 300
10 almonds/pistachios 150
2 sausage sections 100
1 glass of orange juice 100
10 peanuts 100
10 crisps or chips 75
1 aperitif or petit four 70
1 whisky 15

To burn 100 calories, we needs approximately 1 hour of walking, 30 minutes of tennis. A hamburger brings 600 calories, 10 potatoes chips are 75 calories. Do your accounts!

To know how to spend most calories possible in a physical activity, consult our page calories and sports.
